Two main local airlines, will take you from San Jose to the most important points of the country .The fastest way to travel throughout the country is definitely via local shuttle flights operated by SANSA or NATURE AIR. An important note is that there are not flights in between coastal destinations and that you must travel back to San Jose first in order to reach another destination. It is also important to note that there are baggage restrictions including oversized baggage, surfboards, etc.
